Marie J. Boyle, 92, of Oswego died Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Morningstar Care Center, Oswego. She was born in Jamaica, NY the daughter of the late Lawrence and Florence (McKeon) McAvey. Mrs. Boyle and her husband moved to Oswego in 2006. She was a former telephone operator, for NY Bell in New York City. She was a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America in Long Island, and she was a member of St. Joseph Church, Oswego. Mrs. Boyle was predeceased by her husband James Boyle, and her four siblings. She is survived by her children Michael (Susan) Boyle of Long Island; Jeannie Sweeney of Baldwinsville: and Kate (Pete) Colucci of Oswego. Mrs. Boyle is also survived by her grandchildren Kerry Zarkowsky, RJ Sweeney, Erin Norsen, and Christopher Sweeney, Jim Boyle; Carson Colucci and Paiton Colucci; and her great-grandchildren William, Maggie Emmett, and Stella. Entombment was private in All Saints Mausoleum, Oswego. The arrangements were in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. 4th. St., Oswego.
