Joan A. Mattison, 75; of Fulton passed peacefully at home Monday morning. Joan joined her lifelong partner Donald J. Ross who passed in 2008. She was born to the late Freemont and Rebecca (Vanzile) Mattison. Joan was a resident of Fulton for many years. She retired from the Oswego County Department of Social Services, Mexico, NY where she was employed as a Caseworker.
Joan is survived by her 6 children: Theresa (Terry Axtell) Mattison of Addison, NY, Patricia (Jamie) Dains of Corning, NY; Edith Cornish of Scottsville, NY; Linda (Ron) Stotz of Avon, NY; Jocelyn (John) Coffey of Pittsford, NY; Donald (Debbie) Ross of Fulton, NY; 13 grandchildren: Brandon, Samantha, Vanessa, Mike, Robert, Joe, Matt, Heather, Dustin, D.J., Jeremy Robert, Ryan and several great grandchildren.
Ms. Mattison’s wish was that there be no funeral service or calling hours.
The family will host a Celebration of Life with the date to be determined.
Burial will be held privately.

So sorry for the loss of an aunt I barely got to know . Her children., my cousins will be in my thoughts and prayers.
