Ronald D. Monroe, 81, of Watertown and for the past 2 years Utica, died Monday in St. Luke’s University, Utica, NY. He was born in Wisconsin the son of the late Norbert and Marvel Monroe. He served in the United States Navy from 1955 until 1965. He was the owner and operator of Monroe Construction in Watertown for many years. He enjoyed golfing. Mr. Monroe is survived by his wife Susan Monroe, and children Rhonda, Roxanne, Ryan, and Ronald Monroe. He is also survived by his grandchildren Bailey, Kayleigh, Rilee, Emmalei, Bradlie, Jansen, Troy, Nora, and Mason. Services and burial will be private.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4th. St. Oswego.
I am so sorry to hear of Ronald’s passing. He was my biological father, however we haven’t spoken in over 40 years. My sincere condolences to his family.
