William G. Stone Sr., 74, of West Third Street, Fulton died Saturday in Crouse Hospital, Syracuse.  He was born in Boylston, NY and has been a resident of Fulton since 1957. He retired as a truck driver from Malone’s trucking in 1986. He worked for SOVAC Ambulance as an EMT for five years. Mr. Stone was a former member of the Elks, Moose Lodge, and he enjoyed bowling, and was an avid supporter of Animal rights. Mr. Stone was a veteran of the United States Airforce. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Stone of Fulton, children, William Stone Jr of TN,, and Kathleen Stone of Fulton, his brother George Stone of Fulton, and sister Myrtle Smith of TX, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.. Reception honoring Bill’s life will be held Wednesday at the home of Phil & Shelley Jones at 6:00 p.m. The arrangements were in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc. 224 West Second Street, Fulton.
