Pat and family,
You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Sorry for your loss.
I am a LPN nurse who remembers Mrs. Velma when I was training to be a nurse provider in the home. This was back in 1997.. I cared for her in the hospital during my clinical training. She had to tell me how to be a good nurse because it was important I understood what it is to be a patient. mrs. Velma took the time to teach me what personal care is. I carry the short visit she had in hospital with the nursing students to this day. She was strong and a patient-patient.
I am sorry for your loss,
Love a student,
Tammy Bigelow
