Rose Nearbin Ingersoll, 80; of Fulton, NY passed away Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse. She was born in Oswego, NY to the late Foster and Rachel (Naracon) Nearbin. Mrs. Ingersoll has been a resident of Fulton for over 50 years. She was a past participant of the Oswego County Foster Parent Program. Mrs. Ingersoll served as a Deaconess at the Fulton Alliance Church for many years. She was also an avid bowler on the local and state levels. Mrs. Ingersoll was pre-deceased by her son Ronald Ingersoll in 2006, siblings: Robert Nearbin, Kenneth Nearbin. Rhea Beshures, and Cathie Garrison. She is survived by her 3 children: Cynthia Miller of Central Square, NY, Veronica Blount of Fulton, NY and Zachary Ingersoll of Hannibal, NY, 3 siblings: Richard Nearbin of Fort Plain, NY, Ruth Legates of Oswego, NY, Cherie Burridge of Oswego, NY, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Noon Thursday at the Fulton Alliance Church, State Route 48, Fulton with Rev. Jay Spurling officiating. Burial will be held in Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted from 11:00 AM to Noon Thursday at the Fulton Alliance Church. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton has care of the arrangements.
