Richard Crandall, 63; of Volney, NY passed away peacefully Wednesday surrounded by his wife and family at Oswego Hospital, Oswego after a short illness. He was born in Black Creek, NY. Mr. Crandall previously resided in Syracuse, NY and has been a resident of Volney for the last four years. He worked as a Machine Operator with Sterilogic, Mattydale, NY. Mr. Crandall enjoyed watching and feeding hummingbirds. His true labor of love along with his wife was to dedicate their lives to raising their children and grandchildren in a loving home. He was pre-deceased by his father and step-mother Harold and Barbara Crandall. Mr. Crandall is survived by his wife of 43 years Lorrline Crandall of Volney, NY; 5 children: Jimmy Davis of PA, Shirley Davis, Natisha Crandall, Regina Crandall and Ricky Crandall Jr., all of Fulton, and several brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM Sunday May 7th at the Caughdenoy Volunteer Fire Department, 48 Prospect St. Central Square, NY 13036. Burial will be held privately. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton has care of the arrangements.
