Phillip Blair

Phillip Blair, 68; of Fulton died Friday at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, Syracuse. He was born in Burlington, VT and he has lived in Fulton for most of his life. Mr. Blair owned and operated the Blair Homes of Fulton. Mr. Blair’s passion was golfing and he also enjoyed music. He was an instructor and manager of the Caughdenoy golf Course. He was an instructor at the Battle Island Golf Course, Fulton, and the Foxfire Golf Course, Baldwinsville, NY. He was a member of the Battle Island Golf Club. Mr. Blair was pre-deceased by his grandson Ryan Chrisman and brothers David Blair, and Charles Blair. He is survived by his 3 sons: Scott (Shari Blowers) Blair of Fulton, Kevin Blair of Fulton, and Todd (Billijo) Blair of Fulton, 2 sisters: Jenny (Nelson) Slingerland, Tory (Steven) Girban both of Vermont, 7grandchildren: Samantha, Montana, Dylan, Kyle, Avery, Phoebe, and Landon and the Slingerland and Girban families. Memorial calling hours will be held: Saturday, September 22nd from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton. There will be no funeral services. Burial was held privately.
