Mildred E. Guernsey, 89 formerly of Fulton died Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse. She was born in Gilbert Mills, NY to the late Leroy and Eva (Besaw) Bovay. Mrs. Guernsey was a resident of Fulton for most of her life. She retired in 1980 from Midstate Telephone, Fulton. Mrs. Guernsey enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and great granchlldren. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and she loved traveling, reading, and knitting. She is survived by her 3 children: Daniel (Susan) Guernsey of OH, Marie (James) Brady of Brewerton, NY, and Robert (Tamara) Guernsey of FL, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 9:00 AM in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., and 9:30 AM Saturday in Holy Trinity Church, Fulton where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton, NY.
