Calling hours will be Friday from 3:00 to 5:00 at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4th. St. Oswego.

Dear Peg, Maria, Carolyn and Mark,
I am sorry but I will not be able to make the calling hours due to a work commitment. Yet, as you know, Mike was larger than life and lived that way for as long as I could remember. He was a force of nature and a friend to all. I have so many memories … so many laughs. He made the world a better place. I am sure his dad is happy to see him up there in Heaven. Hugs to you all!
Peggy and Maria so sorry.
Rest in peace, Mike.
I knew Mike as the baker at Canal Commons Bakery. What a treat it was to stop in that shop because Mike was so welcoming and kind. There will never be a better Almond Horn than the ones Mike made in that little shop. I was so sad when the bakery closed and I still miss it, the Almond Horns and Mike. My condolences to his family and friends.
My deepest condolences to all of Mike’s family. Mike was an incredibly loyal, kind, generous, and caring friend for over forty years. He will be sorely missed.
Godspeed, Buddy. May you rest in eternal peace.
