Melanie Studer, 50; of Fulton passed away Thursday after a short illness at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown, NY. She was born in Elgin, Illinois and Melanie had been a resident of Fulton for most of her life. She was pre-deceased by her father Bernard “Bud” Studer. Melanie is survived by her longtime fiancé Roy Harvey Sr. of Fulton, 2 sons: Paul Carpenter of CT., and Roy Harvey Jr., of Fulton, her mother Ola Studer of IL, her sister Karen Braese of IL, 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 10:45 AM Saturday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton. Burial will be held privately. Calling hours will be conducted Saturday from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
