Mark Matthews, 61; of Fulton passed away peacefully at University Hospital, Syracuse after a prolonged illness. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late George and Theresa (Barnhill) Matthews. He has been a lifetime resident of Fulton, NY working for many years in Construction. Mark was pre-deceased by siblings: George Matthews Jr., Wayne Byers, Reginald Matthews, Darwin Brown, Theresa (Bart) Clarke, and Ed Devendorf, Ted Devendorf. He is survived by his children: Mark and Nicole Matthews, 7 siblings: Judy House of Baldwinsville, NY; Connie Bertollini of Baldwinsville, NY; Mary (Dan) Parish of Baldwinsville, NY; Timothy Matthews of Costa Rica, Patrick (Janet) Matthews of Oswego, NY; David Matthews of Baldwinsville, NY; and Michael Matthews of Baldwinsville, NY, 3 grandchildren: Michael, Kaitlyn and Robert and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:30 PM Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton with Rev. John Canorro officiating. There will be a Spring Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be held from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Thursday in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., Fulton.
