Joseph F. LaBeefJoseph F LaBeef, 68, of Fulton died Saturday in the Veterans Hospital, in Syracuse. Mr. LaBeef was born in Fulton the son of the late Mador and Margaret (Clemons) LaBeef. He retired from Lockheed Martin, Syracuse after 41 years of service. Mr. LaBeef served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1965 until 1969, as a medic. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and cooking. Mr. LaBeef is survived by his wife of 46 years Millie (Smith) LaBeef of Fulton and sons Joseph (Mary) LaBeef of Fulton, Steven LaBeef of Fulton, and his grandchildren Kirby, Koda, Schyler, and Levi. In addition he is survived by his siblings Peggy Wheelock of Watertown, Dory Allen of Fulton, Steven (Sherry) LaBeef of Fulton, Joanne (Tod) Gibson of Fulton, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Michael LaBeef in 2006, and his sister Tobie Hemings. Funeral services and burial will be private. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd. St. Fulton.
