John R. Reilly, 82, of Fulton died Thursday in St. Luke Health Services, Oswego. Mr. Reilly was born in Rochester the son of the late John and Mary (LaPlant) Reilly. He worked in production planning for General Electric in Syracuse for forty years. He was the owner of Reilly’s Firearms in Fulton. He was the Union Stewart of the AFL-CIO-IUE Local #320. He was a member of the United States Naval Reserves from 1952 until 1960. He was a former altar boy and usher for Holy Family Church. Mr. Reilly is survived by his wife Elaine M. (Buske) Reilly of Fulton, and his children John D. (Shirlvy) Reilly of Georgia; Michael R. Reilly of Fulton; Sandra Ann Reilly of Fulton; Douglas M. (Susan) Reilly of New Hampshire; Richard J. Reilly of Liverpool, Sallie A. (Bill) Acker of Fulton; 8 grandchildren, Christopher (Lilly), Stephanie, Katie, Matthew, Brian, Sara, McKenzie, and Taylor, and one great granddaughter Arianna, and his niece Sarah. Mr. Reilly was predeceased by his sister Patricia Reilly. Funeral services and burial will be private. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd. St. Fulton.
