H. Lewis Lower, 75, of Oswego died January 10, 2014 in Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. He was born in Fulton the son of the late Lewis and Christabelle Lower. He owned and operated Lower’s Insurance in Oswego. He is survived by his daughter Leslie Chase of CA. A gathering will be held Sunday January 26, 2014 at Bridie Manor from 11:00 until 2:00 p.m. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. 4th. St. Oswego.
Lew was a friend long before he became a client..we would share our experiences at the various restaurants here in Oswego…who had the better soup, burger, etc. As a client we loved him here at iHeart. I for one will miss him very much!
Lewie was my half-brother and I will always remember him as a handsome and generous teenager who, in the 1950s, would come to see me on weekends in Fulton with our brother Ted. They were good and protective brothers. Rest in peace, hermano.
Lew was a good friend. We worked together over the last nine years. I looked forward to having dinner with him at Joey’s in Syracuse whenever I was in town. He was a character and he seemed to know everyone. I am very sad to hear of his passing. He will be missed. I hope Lucy went to a good homehe really loved that dog.Rest in Peace my friend.
