Grace L. (Weigelt) Belenger, 83, of Oswego died Saturday September 24, 2016 in Michaud Residential Health Services, Fulton. She was born in Oswego the daughter of the late Francis and Grace (Bruce) Weigelt. She is survived by her loving daughter Ann M. (Michael Place) Belenger of Oswego ; her sisters Charlotte (Donald) Clark of Baldwinsville; Marion (Ed) Murrary of Oswego; and Theresa (Francis) Micelli of CA. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Neil Weigelt, Francis “Bomber” Weigelt, and sisters Nancy Turner, and Patricia Edwards. Funeral arrangements will be private. The Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West 4th St. Oswego, NY, are in care of the arrangements.
Grace and I grew up together and I am saddened to hear of her passing. She was my dearest friend who I loved dearly. I have many fond memories from our years we had together. It has been a few years since I have seen her and on my last visit to new york we had a delightful time catching up. She was beautiful and I take comfort knowing she is truly at peace and in God’s loving care. My sincerest condolences to her family.
