Clark “Pete” Morrison IV, 66, of Oswego died Sunday April 2, 2017 in University Hospital, Syracuse. He was born in Watertown the son of the late Clark and Joan (Graham) Morrison. Pete has been a resident of Oswego most of his life, where he was a business owner and former employee of the Palladium Times. He served in the United States Navy serving aboard the USS Moale. He attended the Fork Union Military Academy, VA., and was a graduate of SUNY Oswego. He was a member of the 148th Civil War Unit re-enactors, and a Civil War enthusiast. Pete enjoyed golfing and was a former member of the Oswego Country Club. He enjoyed spending time at the family summer residence where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Pete is survived by his loving of forty years, wife Cecily (Spataro) Morrison of Oswego, son Collin Morrison of Oswego; siblings Nancy (Charles) Zysk of Baldwinsville, Graham (Kathy) Morrison of Chicago, David (Tammie) Morrison of Colorado, and several nieces and nephews. Pete will be forever remembered for his smile and a story he would share with everyone. He was a person always willing to give a helping hand, and a true friend. Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:30 A.M. in St. Joseph’s Church, Oswego. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oswego. Calling hours will be Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 West 4th St. Oswego, NY 13126. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to the John Foster Burden Fund, C/O St. Luke Health Services, 299 East River Rd, Oswego. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and support staff of the 8F- ICU floor, of University Hospital. The tremendous care they gave Pete, and the support they showed to his family was truly appreciated.
