Angelo Murabito, 103 ½; passed peacefully Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, NY.
Angelo was born in Oswego, NY to the late Joseph and Rosaria (Rapisardi) Murabito Sr. He enjoyed spending time in his hometown of Oswego, NY and Seminole, Florida. Mr. Murabito was a United States Veteran having served in the Army Air Corp while stationed in the Pacific Theater. In his early years he was employed by Diamond Match Factory, and D&W Railroad, Oswego, NY as a Crane Operator. He was employed for the majority of his life as Store Manager and Pharmacist Assistant with: Reeds, Keys, Fays and Eckerd where he retired. Mr. Murabito was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Oswego Elks Lodge. He was a lifetime communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Oswego. Angelo was predeceased by his wife Roseanne Murabito in 1987 and their son: James Murabito in 1993.
He is survived by his son: Timothy Murabito of CA and several nieces and nephews. Angelo was also preceded in death by his siblings: Santo Murabito, Fred Murabito, Sam Murabito, Joseph Murabito, Sally Iosue, Clara Curro and Grace Fortino.
Calling Hours will be held 9:45 to 10:15 AM Wednesday at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4th St., Oswego.
A Funeral Service will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish & Shrine, Oswego, NY; where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Richard Morisette.
Burial will be held in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego, NY with Military Honors bestowed by the NYS Army Honor Guard.

I worked with Angelo at Faye’s in Oswego, such a nice man, he had a great sense of humor. Rest in Peace Angelo.
Ange was the nicest man. My mother Norma worked with him at Fay’s Drugs. RIP Ange.
My thoughts are of how much Uncle Angelo was beloved by his nieces and nephews and their children. May he find eternal peace with those who have gone before, and be remembered with joy by those of us who are blessed to have known him.
