Mary J. Hoyt, 86; formerly of Fulton passed away Wednesday peacefully at Grand Guilderland, Altamont, NY after a short illness. She was born in Central Square, NY to the late Mary and Herbert Hines. Mrs. Hoyt and her late husband Lawrence had co-owned and operated LaMar Photo & Tuxedo, Fulton. She was a past communicant of Holy Family Church and Holy Trinity Church, Fulton. Mrs. Hoyt was also a past member of the Holy Family Altar Rosary Society and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. She and her husband enjoyed Square Dancing together for many years. Her husband Lawrence pre-deceased her in 1996. Mrs. Hoyt is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kristine and John Dykeman of Schenectady, NY, grandson Paul Lawrence Yoo Dykeman and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Saturday, February 18th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM with Rev. John Canorro officiating. Burial will be held in the spring at Hillside Cemetery, Central Square, NY.
