I was a student in Mr. Pauldine’s 4th grade classroom at Elden Elementary School and he was a great teacher! I particularly remember his math lessons on multiplication. As a 10-year old, you don’t think about what your teachers do outside the classroom, but 40 years later it makes me happy to see how much he did to serve our school and his community. May his family find peace as they grieve his passing.
Sorry to see of Jack’s passing but memories of Joan and Jack sure do bring a smile to my face. Jack volunteered at St Joseph’s Hospital for 12 years and over 2500 hours. After 5 years Joan started to volunteer with him. They were such a beautiful couple and we were grateful for the time they served. They had given me a Santa face ornament one year and I place it on my tree every year and think of them. Hoping their family takes comfort in all the memories shared.
