Theodore E. Root, 85; of Fulton. He was born in Fulton, NY and he has remained a life resident. Mr. Root was a United States Veteran having served in the Navy during WWII stationed in the South Pacific. He was a carpenter and millwright working with the Carpenter’s Local #747 and # 2355 since 1952. Mr. Root was an assistant Scout Master with Troop #15. He was pre-deceased by his wife Victoria Root in 1996, and his daughter Lesia Sumyk in 1977. Mr. Root is survived by his 3 children: Jerry (Sherry) Root of Fulton, Gail (Timothy) Henrie of Fulton and Carol (Terry) Shants of Baldwinsville, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 9:30 AM Saturday in Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
