Ronald “Doc” Colocino, 71; of Fulton passed away after a sudden attack of illness Monday, March 28th.
He was born in Fulton, NY to the late Frank and Celestine “Sal” (Witowski) Colocino. Doc remained a lifetime resident of Fulton, NY. He was past employed with Black Clawson, Fulton as an estimator and with General Electric, Syracuse. Doc also worked with Kali Industrial, East Syracuse, NY in shipping and receiving. He was best known as a softball umpire presiding over community games for over 20 years. Doc enjoyed golfing and he was a die-hard Red Sox fan. Doc also had a soft spot for the stray cats in his neighborhood and willingly chose to take care of several.
He is survived by his brothers: Bob (Barbara) Colocino of MA, his twin Dennis (Jane Prall) Colocino of Fulton and his niece: Meredith Colocino of MA.
In accordance with Doc’s wishes Calling Hours and Funeral Service will be held privately at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2ndSt. S., Fulton, NY 13069.
Burial will be held privately at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
A Celebration of Life will be at the convenience of the family.

Doc was a character for sure, and well liked by most, expecially the cats in the neighborhood. He was always there if you needed assistance or wanted to chat. He will be missed.
It was always a fun experience talking with Doc. He could always make me laugh with that spark in his eyes as he told an exaggerated story. I’m sorry to hear that he has passed.
