Michael Jay Figueredo, 48, died Sunday July 6, 2025 in Oswego. Michael was born in New York City the son of Aura Pineda of Oswego and the late Arsenio Figueredo.
Michael has been a resident of Oswego for the past five years. He was a gifted artist, he could be found quietly drawing, or listening to music. Michael loved watching and learning from the history channel.
He was a loving son to his mother Aura Pineda of Oswego, his siblings Jessica Pineda of FL, Christopher Pineda of Oswego, Sakin Jackson, his nephews Christopher, Elijah, Kenny, his nieces Jessica and Lyra. He also leaves behind his uncle John Pineda, his aunt Julie Pineda and several cousins.
Funeral services and Burial will be private.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4th. St. Oswego.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s devastating to lose someone so young. My thoughts are with you and your family. John chapter 5 verse 28 gives me comfort. It doesn’t take away his absence but it does give hope to me. I hope it does for you too.
