Melvyn John Smith, 52; of Fulton passed away peacefully after a long illness. He was born in Nantwich, England to Edward and Violet Smith. He has been a resident of the United States for most of his life. Mr. Smith was past employed with McDonalds, Central Square, NY for 20 years. He is survived by his wife Lisa Smith of Locke, NY, daughters Miranda Bautista of Wolcott, NY, and Nicole Fortino, siblings: Pete Smith and June Smith both of Central Square, NY and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held 1:00 to 3:00 PM Wednesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton. Burial will be held privately. There will be no funeral service.
