Marlea Stannard, 74, of West First St, Fulton died Thursday at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Lacona, NY the daughter of Agnes Slater of Central Square, and the late Avery Slater. Mrs. Stannard has been a resident of Fulton for the past seven years. She retired in 1999 from IEC Electric in Newark, NY. Mrs. Stannard was predeceased by her husband Gerald K. Stannard, and her son James Kingsley in 2003. She is survived by her children Jeffrey (PattI) Kingsley of East Syracuse, Steven Kingsley of Warrensburg, Debra (Clark) Smith of VA, Denise Wallon of Fulton, Shari (Harold) Holland of Cato her brother Neil Slater of FL, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. from the Sugar Funeral Home. Burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery. Calling hours will be prior to the service on Tuesday from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home 224 West Second Street S. Fulton.
