Marcia A. Loosen, 80; of Fulton, NY; passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, May 1st, 2024.

Mrs. Loosen was born in Fulton, NY to the late Joseph P. and Catherine (Duda) Dickquist.  She remained a lifetime resident of Fulton, NY.  Mrs. Loosen retired from Fulton School District where she worked as a Lunch Lady.  She was a lifetime member of the Fulton V.F.W. #569 Auxiliary, and she was a past communicant of St. Michael’s Church and currently Holy Trinity Parish, Fulton.  Marcia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Her grandchildren were truly her pride and joy.

Mrs. Loosen was pre-deceased by her husband of 49 years:  Norbert Loosen and her siblings:  Gloria Dickquist and Joseph Dickquist.

She is survived by two children:  Karl Loosen and Cathy (George) Sweeting both of Fulton, four grandsons:  Ryan and Brandon Arigo and Andrew and Kaleb Loosen; special nephew:  Danny Ingleston and special friend:  Ron Jenkins.

Calling Hours will be held 1:00 to 3:00 PM Sunday at Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton.

A Funeral Service will be held 9:30 AM Monday at Holy Trinity Parish where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Joseph Scardella.

Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
