Kathleen Poorman, 63; of Fulton passed away after a courageous fight over several years Monday afternoon at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse. She was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Donald and Vincenza (Utano) Horn. She has been a resident of Fulton for most of her life. Kathy owned and operated Poorman’s Tax Service, Fulton where she worked as an Accountant for 23 years. Kathy enjoyed her grandchildren, playing cards with family and loved to travel with her family and visit the ocean. She especially liked driving her 2002 Corvette and Cadillac. She also did not hide her love of going to the casino and play the slot machines.
Kathy is survived by her husband Joseph Poorman, her 3 children: William Pfrang of Fulton, Catherine (Ken) Spaulding of Fulton, and Donald Pfrang of Fulton; step-son: Robert (Michelle) Poorman of Pennellville, NY; her 3 siblings: Donald (Pearl) Horn of Hastings, Marie Horn of Fulton, and Daniel (Malissa Reidy) Horn of Fulton, grandchildren: Jocelyn Pfrang, Emma Spaulding, Benson Pfrang, Joshua Poorman, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM held Saturday at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W 2nd St. S., Fulton. Burial will be conducted privately.
Face Masks and Capacity Limits will apply in adherence of NYS Mandates.
