Joseph Ferazzoli

Joseph FerazzoliJoseph Ferazzoli, 85; of Fulton died Thursday at University Hospital.  He was born in Fulton and he has been a life resident of the area. Mr. Ferazzoli was a WWII United States Veteran having served in the Army in the European Theater.  He was honored with the Purple Heart for his service in Bologna, Italy. Mr. Ferazzoli was a graduate of the Bulova School of Watch Making. He worked as a jeweler and watchmaker at Ferazzoli & Son Jewelers, Fulton.  He owned and operated The Diamond Shop, Syracuse, NY and Wolcott Jewelers, Wolcott, NY.  Mr. Ferazzoli also repaired watches at Ferazzoli and Farrell Jewelers, Fulton, NY.  He was a communicant of Holy Family Church, and a Charter Member of the Italian American Club.  He was also a former member of the Fulton Lions Club.  Mr. Ferazzoli is survived by his wife of 67 years Rose Lovecchio Ferazzoli of Fulton, his daughters Ann (John) Woodworth and Dr. Josephine (Timothy) Farrell both of Fulton, 4 grandchildren:  Joseph (Heidi) Woodworth, Mark (Janet) Woodworth, John (April) Woodworth, and Joann (Harold) Quinn, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral Services will be held 11:30 AM Monday in Holy Trinity Church.
Burial will be in All Saints Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego.  Calling hours will be conducted 3:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
