John A. Woulfe, 83, formerly of Fulton died at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, Plattsburgh, NY. Mr. Woulfe was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Patrick and Marie (Scanlon) Woulfe. He was a resident of Fulton most of his life until recently moving to Saranac Lake, NY. Mr. Woulfe was a United States Veteran having served in the Marine Corp during WWII from 1944 to 1946 in the Pacific Theater. Mr. Woulfe retired from the Fulton Consolidated School System as the Building Maintenance Manager at Oak St. School. He was a musician and a member and former president of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He was pre-deceased by his wife Flora (Colucci) Woulfe in 1996 and his brother Bernard Woulfe in 2004. Mr. Woulfe is survived by his children: John P. (Gloria Rondinaro) Woulfe of Lake Clear, NY, James M. Woulfe of Saranac Lake, NY, Joseph B. Woulfe of Chicago, IL., Anne M. (Rick Georgeson) Woulfe of Knox, NY, and granddaughter Sarah M. Woulfe. Funeral Services will be held 9:00 AM Tuesday at Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., and 9:30 AM at Holy Trinity Church, Fulton where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Steve Wirkes. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
