James Kenneth Thompson Jr., 61; of Oswego, NY passed away November 27, 2022 unexpectedly at his home.
He was born in Oswego, NY to James “Ken” Thompson and Diane Dempsey Thompson of Oswego, NY. Jim was a lifetime resident of Oswego. He was a United Stated Veteran having served in the Marine Corp. from 1980 to 1986. Jim retired from the City of Oswego having been employed with the DPW. He enjoyed hunting. He was most proud of being a Marine “Semper Fidelis.”
Jim is survived by his longtime companion: Jo Ann Collett of Oswego and their daughter Jenna (John Frank) Loomis of Oswego, granddaughter: Jianna Frank of Oswego; his 2 siblings: Christine Thompson Trawinski of PA, Jeff (Kelly) Thompson of Oswego and several beloved nieces: nephews: MaryKate Levi, Eric Trawinski, Caleigh Thompson, Ashleigh Thompson-Jones, Jeffrey Thompson and 3 great nieces and nephews: Blake Meggison, Emilia Levi and Iyla Levi.
There will be no Funeral Services.
Burial will be held privately.
