Jack A. Guinta, 53, of Baldwinsville died peacefully Wednesday at his home surrounded by his family. Jack was born in Oswego the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Piccolo) Guinta. He was working as an IBM software sales representative until his illness. Jack was an avid SU sports fan and coached many teams in the Baldwinsville Little League and the Baldwinsville Booster Basketball league. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-five years Michelle Guinta, and loving children Michael, Janelle, and Taryn Guinta all of Baldwinsville. In addition he is survived by his brother Carmen (Denise) Guinta, and sister Linda Guinta all of Oswego. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church Baldwinsville, with Rev. Abraham Esper. Burial will be in All Saints Mausoleum at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego. There will be no calling hours. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, Oswego. The family request contributions be made in Jack’s name to the American Cancer Society.

I only met Jack when there were funerals, but from all I have ever heard from Linda through my sister, Georgia he was a wonderful brother, husband, and father and will truly be missed. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.
