Ida B. Dingman, 90; of Fulton died Tuesday at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton. Mrs. Dingman was born in Fulton to the late Claude Biggs and Hattie (Rogers) Biggs Holmes. She remained a life resident of Fulton. She was employed with Andrew Michaud Nursing Home as an activities assistant. She was very active with the Girl Scouts. Mrs. Dingman was a member of the Fulton Historical Society and an active life member of the State Street Methodist Church and North Mexico Church. Mrs. Dingman enjoyed volunteering as a pink jacket volunteer at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital and working the poles on election days. She was a past member of the Rebekah Lodge and the MOMS of Foreign Service Veterans. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother who always put others needs before her own. She was pre-deceased by her husband Fred J. Dingman in 1980. She is survived by her daughter Linda L. (Everett) Robinson of Mexico, and her son Robert W. (Patsy) Dingman of Mississippi, 6 grandchildren: Kelly Rossi, Christine Robinson, Mike Robinson, Betsy Robinson-Tubolino, Billy Dingman, and Patty Shankin; 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 2 nieces, a nephew and several cousins. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, January 4, 2009 at State Street United Methodist Church, Fulton. Burial will be held in the spring at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton has care of the arrangements. I was deeply saddened when I learned about Bob’s mothers passing.
