Harold J. McCarthy, 77, of Fulton died Tuesday July 22, 2014 peacefully at home with his wife at his side. Mr. McCarthy was born in Fulton the son of the late Ted and Marian (Reeves) McCarthy. He was a retired mechanic from International Harvester, and Oswego Wire. Mr. McCarthy enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Valarie (Connelly) McCarthy, his children Allison Raum, Harold J. McCarthy Jr., Jonathan McCarthy all of Oswego, 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Burial was held privately. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. 2nd. St. S. Fulton.
