Elizabeth J. Smith, 90; of Fulton passed away Monday, May 4th at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse. She was born in Oswego, NY to the late Edward and Catherine (Meeker) Philo. She has remained a lifetime resident of Fulton. Mrs. Smith enjoyed being a mother and homemaker. She loved collecting Home Interior items and she enjoyed shopping the sales. Mrs. Smith was pre-deceased by her husband George Smith Sr., sons: Gary Whaley, and George Smith Jr., daughters: Heather Smith, and Katherine Pritchard, brother: John Young and son-in-law: Robert Potter. Mrs. Smith is survived by 5 children: Michael (Christine) Philo of FL., Karen Potter of Fulton, Linda (Michael) Jachimek of Oswego, Richard (Diane) Philo of CT., Debbie Gustafson of FL., and son-in-law Robert Pritchard of Hannibal, 2 siblings: Kay (Bruno) Cafolla of Fulton, and Priscilla Marcino of HI and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 AM Monday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., Fulton. Burial will be held at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be held 9:00 AM to 10 AM Monday in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
