Edward F. Devendorf, 79; of Fulton died at Oswego Hospital, Oswego. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Earl and Cordelia (Campbell) Devendorf. He has been a lifetime resident of Fulton. Mr. Devendorf was a United States Veteran having served in the Army as a Private 1st Class from 1953 to 1955. He was a painter with the Painter’s Local #38, Oswego. He was pre-deceased by his wife Helen Devendorf in 1997, twin brother Theodore Devendorf in 2005 and his daughter Shelley Horning in 2012. Mr. Devendorf is survived by his children: Lance Devendorf of Fulton, Patricia (David) Kuhl of Scriba, Greg (Kelly) Devendorf of Carthage, NY, Patrick (Rebecca) Devendorf of Fulton, Tyrone McDougal of Oswego, his longtime companion Grace Gault of Fulton, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held in the spring at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton with Rev. Mark Kimpland. Calling hours will be conducted 3:00 to 6:00 PM Monday in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
