Arlene J. Nardozzi, 85; of Fulton passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse Friday morning. She was born in Geneva, NY to the late Frank and Josephine (Perry) Cosentino. Mrs. Nardozzi has been a resident of Fulton for most of her life. She owned and operated Arlene’s Beauty Shop, Fulton and Appearance Beauty Salon & Retail Center, Fulton for over 40 years. Mrs. Nardozzi was an avid volunteer in several local organizations. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Richard Nardozzi of Fulton, their children: Deborah (William) Walberger of Phoenix, NY, Cindy Nardozzi of Clay, NY, and Tammy (Daniel) Nardozzi-Irovando of Clay, NY; 4 grandchildren: Richard (Lauren Demicolo) Walberger, Michael (Tonja) Metcalf, Mathew Metcalf, and Nicholas Metcalf; and 2 great grandchildren: Grayson and Maverick. Funeral Services will be held 9:30 AM Tuesday in Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Joseph Scardella. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 2:00 to 4:00 PM Monday in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton
I know when Arlene was alive her and I did not get along so well. This does not stop me from saying how sorry I am for her family’s loss.I know she was the matriarch of the family and her advice for her children will be missed. i will end by saying you 3 girls and your father Dick were lucky to be able to hold on to her for this long. Now hold on to the memories as I do.
