Alice C. Sullivan

Alice C. Sullivan, 88; of Fulton, NY died Saturday at Pontiac Rehabilitation Center, Oswego. She was born in Bronx, NY to the late Joseph and Agnes (Burke) Conway. She has been a resident of Fulton since 1947. Alice was past employed as a cook with St. Mary’s Catholic School, Fulton and the Oswego County Board of Elections. She was past president of the Fulton VFW #569 Auxiliary and was a 50-year pin recipient. She was a past member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, and a 50+ year member of the Catholic Daughters Court Per LeMoyne. Alice was also a Girl Scout Troop Leader for 18 years. Alice was astounded and pleased since years of scouting had passed whenever a grown woman would approach her on the street and ask Alice if she remembered her in her Girl Scout Troop. She was pre-deceased by her husband John E. Sullivan in 2004, her daughter Mary Sullivan in 1978 and her son Joseph also pre-deceased by 3 siblings: Joseph, Edward and Dorothy. Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her children: John P. Sullivan of CA, Theresa Sullivan of Kingston, NY, and Maureen Sullivan of MD, 4 grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 9:00 Am Wednesday in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., and 9:30 AM in Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 4:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
