Heather L. Elen, 55; of Fulton passed suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, NY.
Heather was born in Fulton, NY to the late Donald Hoyt and Carol Hoyt currently of Fulton, NY. She has remained a resident of Fulton, NY for most of her life. Heather worked as the Director of Human Resources at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, NY. Heather enjoyed walking, jogging and most especially traveling with her husband.
Heather’s number one priority was her family and she will be dearly missed by her husband of 10 years: David J. Elen of Fulton, NY; their children: Reed Mellen of New Haven, NY, Stephanie Elen of Higginsville, NY; Jamie Elen of Oswego, NY; her sister: Johanna Taylor of OH, 3 grandchildren: Adeline, Braylin and Carson and 2 nephews: Joseph Taylor and Anthony Taylor.
Honoring Heather’s wishes a Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no Calling Hours.
Burial will be conducted privately.
The Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton has care of the arrangements.
Carol and your entire family. I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Heather’s passing. Any loss of a loved one is a great burden to bear but, when unexpected, it seems all the more difficult. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this most trying time. May God’s grace and the strength of your memories of Heather help you through.
