Claudia Jane (Robinson) Lower, 82; passed away Friday, January 16, 2026, at her home in Palermo, NY after a short battle with cancer.
Jane was born on January 1st, 1944; in Fulton, NY to the late Paul Robinson and Lois Schooley. Claudia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who always thought of others before herself. She gave sacrificially and loved deeply. Claudia lived in many states throughout her 82 years and during her employment as a long-haul team truck driver with her husband Charles. She was also a school bus driver in various states and worked several factory jobs. Jane loved attending church at River of Life, Oswego; and spending time with her church family. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and enjoyed chatting on the phone with them to catch up on their lives. Jane also spent countless hours crocheting blankets and scarves to share as gifts. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 47 years, Charles Lower Sr., and being an avid animal lover she also missed her beloved dog Peanut.
Mrs. Lower is survived by her four children: Patricia Bashlor of OK, Charles (Ann) Lower Jr., of TN, Paul (Robin) Lower of Palermo, NY; and Deborah Lower of KY. She leaves behind quite a legacy in her beloved 11 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jane is also survived by her brothers: Howard (Kathy) Mason, Jimmy Mason and pre-deceased by her brother John (Renee) Evans Sr. A Celebration of Life Ceremony is planned for 2:00 PM Sunday, February 1st, 2026; at River of Life Church, 129 City Line Road, Oswego, NY.
There will be no Calling Hours. Burial will be held privately.
