Michael A. Benson, 74; of Oswego, NY; passed unexpectedly at home Friday, June 21, 2024.
He was born in Concord, NH to the late Royal D. and Jacquelyn (Scott) Benson. He has been a resident of Oswego, NY since 1980. Mr. Benson was a United States Veteran having served in the Navy during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1980. Michael worked for James A. Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant as a Quality Control Inspector. He enjoyed restoring antique cars, riding motorcycles and he loved to cook.
Mr. Benson was survived by his three children: Jason Benson of TX, Ryan (Jennifer) Benson of TX and Carissa (Christopher) Losurdo of Oswego, NY; his siblings: Steven (Janet) Benson of NH, Peter Benson of ME, and Jimmy Benson of NH; his six grandchildren: Liliana Benson, Marissa Benson, Cayden Benson, Harper Benson, Hannah Benson and Cooper Losurdo; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Benson was also pre-deceased by his siblings: Royal “Donny” Benson and Susan Banfil.
There will be no Funeral Services or Calling Hours. Burial will be held privately.
