John “Jack” E. Parish Sr., 93; of Phoenix, NY passed away at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, NY Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024.
He was born in Fulton, NY to the late Francis and Lucille (Dashnau) Parish. He has been a resident of Phoenix since 1986. Mr. Parish was retired from Sealright Co., in 1962 after 43 years of service. He loved being outside and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Parish was pre-deceased by his children: Judith Lee Parish, Edward Francis Parish, and John Parish Jr., and siblings: Clarence Parish and Alice Boyd.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years: Anne Parish of Phoenix, NY; their children: Sheila (Paul) Rees of SC; Helena Marie Parish of Fulton, NY; Michael James (Patricia) Parish of Fulton, NY; Andrew George Parish of Fulton, NY and daughter-in-law: Donna Parish of New Haven, NY. He is also survived by several beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
Calling Hours will be held from 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM Monday at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday at Noon at St. Stephen’s Church, Phoenix, NY where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Joseph Scardella.
Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton, NY.

Rest in peace Jack. We will miss you. I have so many memories and will cherish them. Go be with John, Ed,and Judy. May you know how much you were loved by your family and friends.

I will miss my Uncle Jack greatly. I am so glad I got to see him in October.
