Teresa K. Blanchard, 60, of Hannibal died Thursday, February 16, 2023, in Pontiac Care & Rehabilitation Center after a short illness. She was born in Fulton the daughter of Joseph and Sandra Blanchard of Hannibal. Teresa enjoyed the art of making stain glass and dragon eyes, which she shared with family and friends. She would spend her pass time watching British T.V. As her friend Deanna wrote “She had the strength of a mountain, intelligence beyond what many ever saw or wanted to admit. Her empathy flowed like a river, even when anger or disappointment were overwhelming. Her faith, the respect of the Universe, earth and all creatures; she wore like a crown without one bit of doubt”. Above all things, she loved spending her time with her three sons, and her beloved grandchildren.
Teresa is survived by her loving sons Nathanial (Mariah Brown) Hendricks of Phoenix; Greyson (Keely Haesaert) Blanchard of Newark; Schyler Hicks of Oswego; her loving sister Michelle (Mark) DiGaetano of Martville; her precious grandchildren Mila and Sebastian; her niece Heather (Mat) Sovocool, and nephew Joseph DiGaetano.
Teresa’s request was that services be private.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4th St., Oswego.
