Frances T. Boyd, 91; formerly of Connecticut passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Sterling NY. She was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Orazio and Elizabeth Tartaglia. Mrs. Boyd has been a resident of Sterling, NY since April, 2016. Mrs. Boyd was past employed with General Electric, Bridgeport, CT. Family was everything to Frances and being with them gave her great joy. Mrs. Boyd is survived by her three children: Jean Poniros of CT, Janice Lathrop of Sterling, NY, William Boyd of CT, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Boyd was pre-deceased by her husband William Boyd in 1983, siblings: Mary Stella, Marge Chatlos, Faye Pluchino, Edith Copida, Anna Vetro, William Tartaglia, and Joseph Tartaglia. Funeral Services and Burial will be held in Connecticut at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 West Second St. S. has care of the arrangements.
