Phyllis Ritchie

Phyllis DelBrocco Ritchie 86; of Fulton died surrounded by family at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse after a long illness. Mrs. Ritchie was born in Fulton to the late Louis and Assunta (Colocino) DelBrocco. Phyllis graduated from G’Ray Bodley High School and she remained a lifetime resident of Fulton. She retired from Birdseye, Fulton and then she enjoyed spending her retirement traveling and donating her time and baked goods to the church. Mrs. Ritchie was an active member of the Golden Agers and a lifelong communicant of Holy Family Church, Fulton. Phyllis enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and entertaining family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband: Frederick Ritchie in 1988, daughter: Diana Ritchie and siblings: Joseph and James DelBrocco, Teresa Ritchie, and Florence DeLisle and nieces: Sue Bartlett and Nancy Ritchie. Mrs. Ritchie is survived by her son Michael (Nancy) Ritchie of NC, daughter Cheryl Mann of Rochester, NY; Grandchildren: Arica Ritchie, Reanna (Jon) Rivera, Melissa Mann, Michael Ann Ritchie; Gina Ritchie, Nephews: Donald, David, and Daniel Ritchie, great grandchildren: Julianna Rivera, Jonathan Rivera, Justin Mann, Ava Ritchie, Janessa and Jacob Rivera.
Funeral Services will be held 9:30 AM Friday at Holy Trinity Church, Fulton where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc. 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
