Anna Marie Kephart Durkin Worth, 79; formerly of Pennellville, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family after enduring Alzheimer’s for several years. She was born in Coalport, PA to the late Austin and Goldie (Lenhart) Kephart. Anna was a proud member of Teamster Local #1149, working at Schlitz and then retiring from Anheuser Busch in 1995. Anna loved being surrounded by her family and made frequent trips “down home” to visit her beloved family in Pennsylvania. She was a strong, loving matriarch for her close-knit family, made the world’s best potato salad, and was always impeccably dressed. Anna is survived by her children: James (Barbara) Durkin of Canandaigua, NY; Michael (Tracy) Durkin of Liverpool, NY; Robin (Michael) Ingles of Pennellville, NY; and Kelly (Floyd) Vickery of Pennellville, NY. She is also survived by her siblings: Sandra Demore, Dorothy Kephart, Austin Kephart, Lewis Fleming, Mary Miles, and Grace Smeal, all of PA, 6 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Anna was pre-deceased by her brothers Arnold Kephart, William Fleming and Ed Fleming, and step father Lewis Fleming. Funeral Services will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton. Burial will be held privately in Pennellville Cemetery, Pennellville, NY. Calling hours will be conducted 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., Fulton, N.Y. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Alzheimer Association of CNY 441 West Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
