Beverley Jean Downs, 83; of Fulton passed away Wednesday at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, NY. She was born in Fulton to the late Seymour and Gertrude Cole. Mrs. Downs was a lifetime resident of Fulton. She was past employed as a Clerk with the Fulton Police Department and Oswego Valley News, Fulton. Mrs. Downs was a member of the Eastern Star, Fulton. She was pre-deceased by her husband Thomas Downs in 2005. Mrs. Downs is survived by her children: Jay Downs of Oswego, NY, Valerie Jean Toennessen of WI, Willa Danowski of MI, and Diana Wenner of Rochester, NY and several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Funeral Services and Burial will be held privately. There will be no calling hours. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 West Second Street South, Fulton, NY has care of the arrangements.
