Catherine Probe DeGroff, 93, of Oswego died Monday in St. Luke Health Services, Oswego. She was born in Hannibal the daughter of the late Alexander and Florence (Miner) Ritchie. Mrs. DeGroff is a former employee of the Oswego Hospital, housekeeping department. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Lee DeGroff in 1992, and daughter Florence Smith in 2000. She is survived by her children Wayne (Doreen) DeGroff of TN; Robert (Glenda) DeGroff of Hannibal; Roberta Arnold of TX; Catherine Howell of Fair Haven; Cecelia McKleen of CA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Burial will be 9:00 a.m. Friday in the Hannibal Village Cemetery. Calling hours will be conducted Thursday 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West 4th St. Oswego, NY 13126.
