James Billings, 83; of Fulton passed away Sunday at Van Duyn, Syracuse, NY. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Thomas and Marian (Gilbert) Billings. Mr. Billings was a resident of Lysander for most of his life. He was past employed as a Truck Driver and later retired from Griffin Environmental, Baldwinsville, NY. Mr. Billings was a member of the Lamson Grange, and Little Utica Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing BINGO. Mr. Billings is survived by his wife of 62 years Jeannette Billings of Lysander, their 8 children: Nancy (Richard) Stellingwerf of Fulton, NY; Robert (Mo) Billings of Baldwinsville, NY; Janice Conefry of NC; James (Julie) Billings of Baldwinsville, NY; Mary (Frank) Gardner of FL, Barbara (Doug) Lequo of Ithaca, NY; Elizabeth (Dave) Jarrett of Bridgeport, NY; Betty (Victor) Clovis of Solvay, NY; 3 siblings: Fred Billings of OK; Harold Billings of FL; Ronald Billings of Fulton, NY; 9 grandchildren: Jennifer, Brian, Nicole, Vincent, Jonathan, Brendon, Megan, Emmanuel, Cosgrove; 4 great grandchildren: Riley, Julieanna, Conner, T.J. and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service and burial will be held 3:00 PM Friday at Jacksonville Cemetery with Rev. Vivian Summerville officiating. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton has care of the arrangements.
