Patricia A. Falanga, 76, of North Rose, NY and a former resident of Fulton died Friday in Rochester General Hospital. Ms. Falanga was born in Fulton the daughter of the late Frank Falanga and Elizabeth Crandall. Ms. Falanga was a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, and she taught nursing at St. Mary’s School of Nursing, and Genesee Community College. She also worked for Sodus Health Center in Sodus, NY. Ms. Falanga retired as the director of Health Services at Monroe Community College. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Kathleen Falalnga, brother David Falanga, and nephew Fred Falanga. She is survived her brothers Dr. Richard (Jane) Falanga of Oswego, Peter (Barbara) Falanga of Fulton, sister-in-law Connie Falanga, longtime friend Shirley Sharpee, and Shirley’s three children. Ms. Falanga is also survived by her nieces, and nephews Joel, Jeanine, Jennifer, Dr. Jonathan, Theresa, Elizabeth, William, Michael, Paul, Joe, and Tony. Funeral services will be Wednesday 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Fulton. Calling hours will be Tuesday 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. 2nd St. Fulton.
Dear Dick, Jane and the Extended Falanga Family,
lt is always sad to learn of the death of someone who was a part of the Volney Center family. Growing up in Oswego County, NY gives each of us a special place in local history. Obviously, Patricia went on to succeed in her chosen career and was able to share her love of medicine with many others.
Please know that Patty and you will all be in my thoughts and prayers this Lenten season.

Dear Falanga family,
Pat was my boss in Health Services at MCC for 12 years. I will always remember her with great fondness, she was a wonderful lady who constantly gave of herself. Heaven has certainly gained from our loss. God bless you all in this time of sorrow.

I remember Patricia daughter growing up in Fulton grade school I am sure I met her mom at one point. I am sure that Ms falunga was a wonderful Christian women.
