Ralph J. Plata, 89; of Fulton died Friday at Michaud Residential Health Services, Fulton. Mr. Plata was born in Oswego, NY to the late Joseph and Mary (Kruppa) Plata. He retired from Sealright Co., Fulton after several years working as a Machine Operator. He was a past communicant of Holy Family Church, Fulton. Mr. Plata was a past member of the Fulton Polish Home. He was pre-deceased by his wife Charlotte Plata in 2009. Mr. Plata is survived by his children: Thomas Plata of NC, Tamara (Tony) Santiago of CA, brother: Frank Plata of Oswego, and sister Azelyn Alfiere of Syracuse, NY and 2 grandchildren: Nicole Plata and Christian Plata both of WI and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Robert Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc. 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
